SEASHELL NECKLACE ~ Gold Pelican's Foot Shell Deluxe II

This necklace is adorned with a beautiful Pelican's Foot Shell found by me in Algarve, Portugal.

The name Pelican's Foot Shell came from the similarity to the foot of the sea bird pelican. 🐚🦤

The scientific name for this shell is 𝘼𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙧𝙝𝙖𝙞𝙨 𝙥𝙚𝙨𝙥𝙚𝙡𝙚𝙘𝙖𝙣𝙞 which is Latin and means pelican.

Pelican's Foot Shell name is based on the shape of the three-pointed (or four-pointed) expanded outer lip of the shell, which resembles the webbed foot of a pelican sea bird.
