This necklace is adorned with a stunning Banded Dye-Murex, found by me on the beach of Algarve, Portugal. 

The unique shape and rich history of this Banded Dye-Murex embodies the magic of the ocean and the stories it holds

In ancient Mediterranean cultures these murex snails were used to dye fabrics in a indigo-purple color. There are also fossil shells found of more than 3 million years ago, so this species hold a rich history on earth.
